Rock Climbing at Railay Beach

Operated: Daily / Tour duration: 08.00 – 13.00 for half day / 08:00 – 16:30 for full day.

07:30 – 08:00 Pick up from hotels in Aonang Beach area and transfer you to Railay Beach by long tailed boat. When arrive at Railay Beach, we will take you to our shop to check all climbing equipments. Then we will start our climbing lesson with the assistance of our experienced instructors.

Top Rope Climbing
This is the way you will start out climbing. Your instructor will first climb to the top of the route and loop the rope through a fixed anchor. Once back on the ground you will be attached to one end of the rope which runs through the anchor at the top of the climb and back down to the instructor. A belay device is a fail-safe device which lets the instructor keep your rope tight. While you climb the instructor tightens the rope, keeping it firm so that if you slip you are safe, or if you get tired you can let go and be suspended in your harness in complete safety.

This is a great way to learn which leaves you plenty of time and energy to concentrate on climbing or to simply enjoy the view from above. Don’t hesitate; it’s a good fun and safe.

12:30 After finishing the climbing, we take you back to our shop and get some drinks before taking you back to your hotel.

Sea Cave Canoe at Bor Thor Village

Bor Thor Village, located in the North of Krabi province, is home to the historical sites of Tham Lod and Pee Hua Toh Cave. Kayaking is the most practical way to explore these sea caves. At Tham Lod, you can paddle from one side of the limestone pinnacle through a tunnel to the other side. The tunnel gives you splendid sightings of stalactites and stalagmites.

Pee Hua Toh Cave, the cave comes from the Carboniferous to Permian period, 230 – 340 million years ago. There are prehistoric wall paintings in the cave and also stalactites, stalagmites and tubular stones. It was reported that Big skulls of human were found here and that why we name the cave “Pee Hua Toh” which means “big headed ghost”.

Lunch will be served at the floating restaurant near the mangrove forests. In the afternoon, we will explore some more caves such as “Tham Song Pee Nong” and then we will stop at a local resort for a swim in the cold fresh water of a jungle canal.

Tree Top Adventure (A cable ride on top of the trees)

Tree Top Adventure Park Krabi was newly opened in November 2011 by the experienced tour operator who owns another adventure parks both in Koh Chang and Pattaya. The Park is located in the area of Thanbokkhoranee National Park in Ao Luk District. It is about 45 minutes drive from Aonang Beach.

This kind of activity is suitable for those who like adventure. You will be trained by the instructors about how to use the safety equipment. The activity will start from the low and easy platforms and the following platforms will become more challenging and higher. At present, there are three levels. Level 1 and 2 is for everyone while level 3 is the highest point and suitable for those who like height and challenge. You have to ride a pulley from platform on one tree to another and the distance between the trees for level 3 is more than 100 meters. What you can expect to see from the top of the trees is the fantastic view overlooking the forests, mountain and the sky. The ride from level 1 to level 3 normally takes about 2 hours. After finishing the ride, you will get drinks and light lunch. Then we transfer you back to your hotel.

Kayaking at Thalane Bay

08:30   pick up from your hotel by joined van and transfer to Thalane Bay.

Thalane Bay has been discovered that it is superb for having a first time encounter with the ecosystem. In addition, there are very rich faunas and plants that are not easily found in other areas. A highlight of the trip is a paddling through narrow channels cut through two towering cliffs. Several species of Kingfishers, little Herons and Crab Eating Macaques are almost guaranteed to be seen in this area.

If lucky, you may have a chance to see the monkeys or macaques coming very close to you while you are paddling. These monkeys come for food. They know that you must have something they can eat. Please be careful with your camera and belongings. Naughty monkeys like to take away the tourists’ belongings.

After that, we get back to the pier, get change and enjoy lunch from the restaurant with nice view and then we transfer you back to the hotel.
